RES-Q+ was proud to take part in ESOC 2025, Europe’s leading forum for advancements in research and clinical care for patients with cerebrovascular diseases. The conference took place last week, from 21 to 23 May 2025, onsite in Helsinki, Finland, and offered a high-level scientific programme featuring major clinical trials, workshops, and international collaboration.

Members of the ESO EAST Meeting during the 11th annual session in Helsinki.
As part of the event, RES-Q+ had a dedicated booth where our team presented key aspects of the project, including innovations in data management, quality benchmarking, and tools designed to support evidence-based decision-making in stroke care.

In addition to our presence at the main conference, RES-Q+ also actively contributed to the 11th Annual ESO EAST Meeting, held on 20 May 2025 as a traditional pre-conference event. Organised by the ESO EAST Steering Committee and supported by the ESO EAST Head Office, the meeting provided a valuable platform for sharing regional experiences and future goals in stroke care improvement.
During the afternoon session, Robert Mikulík and Hamzah Ziadeh presented the latest developments in the RES-Q+, highlighting new features such as virtual assistants designed to support clinicians. Building on this introduction, Hamzah Ziadeh from Aalborg University then led a workshop dedicated to demonstrating the Virtual Assistant in practice.

This tool is developed to assist in analysing large datasets from stroke registries like RES-Q and to provide actionable insights that support better clinical decisions. In the second part of the workshop, participants discussed common challenges clinicians face when working with stroke-related data. Their feedback will directly inform the further development of the Virtual Assistant to better meet real clinical needs, including time tracking, quality monitoring, and performance benchmarking. RES-Q+ remains focused on advancing stroke care through collaboration, innovation, and the practical application of data-driven tools.
